The Emerson  A6370D Overspeed Protection Monitor is designed for high-reliability speed monitoring and protection of critical rotating machinery. It supports multiple sensor types, including eddy-current, Hall-effect, and magnetic (VR) sensors, ensuring flexible application across different turbine and compressor systems. The module provides galvanically isolated sensor power supply and robust input conditioning for accurate signal acquisition over a wide frequency range up to 20 kHz.It features digital inputs for test and reset functions, along with isolated current outputs (0/4–20 mA) for integration with control and safety systems. With high-precision measurement capability, built-in electrical isolation, and fault-tolerant design, the A6370D ensures reliable overspeed detection and machinery protection in demanding industrial environments such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors.
