Main Features

The Emerson  A6312/06 Speed & Key Module is a high-reliability monitoring solution for critical rotating machinery within the AMS 6500 system. It provides precise measurement of speed, zero speed, reverse rotation, and shaft phase using eddy-current displacement sensors. The module features two independent, galvanically isolated input channels with a wide frequency range up to 20 kHz, ensuring accurate real-time performance monitoring.It supports redundant configuration for enhanced reliability, with automatic switchover based on sensor diagnostics such as signal gap voltage and pulse comparison. Designed as a compact 3U hot-swappable module compliant with API 670 standards, it integrates seamlessly into PlantWeb®, Ovation®, and DeltaV™ systems via AMS software. With built-in self-diagnostics, buffered 0/4–20 mA outputs, and advanced safety functions, it ensures dependable protection and condition monitoring for turbines, compressors, and other critical assets.
